The Texas Bullwhip Pulling Team is headed for Wheatland, MO for some Pro Pulling Action at the Lucas Oil Motor Speedway.  Come see the Lil’ Whip with it’s brand new motor as we compete to see what our final place will be in the PPL Points Championship Race.

A good time was had by all in Jefferson City, MO.  On Friday night, the Lil’ Whip made a beautiful pass and took second.  The Bullwhip finished 10th and lost a throttle cable at around 200 feet.  Saturday, thanks to some fast work by Dean Hagen of Swearingen Motorsports, we got new throttle cables for the tractor and were ready to roll out to the scales in plenty of time.  On Satuday night, the Bullwhip went 275 feet in the NTPA unlimited class.  Our troublesome hemi ran a little fat, but it ran and all the throttle cables and blower belts stayed in tact.  In the Outlaw 2 wheel drive class Saturday night, disaster struck.  At about 310 feet in the last part of a picture perfect pass, the motor of the Lil Whip had catastophic failure and Donald rolled to a stop at 313.5 feet.  On more careful examination, there is not much left of the block.  Now both the tractor and the truck are safely in the hands of the experts at Swearingen Motorsports getting ready for Wheatland!  We cannot wait to see everyone at the Lucus Oil Motor Speedway on Sepetember 10, 2011.

The Texas Bullwhip Pulling Team is coming to Jefferson City, Mo on August 26th and 27th, 2011 for a good old fashioned Texas shoot out with our  friends from the Zajicek Nelson 2 Wheel Drive Pulling Team!  It seems as though everyone wants a chance to beat that Lil’ Whip, so the competition will be fierce.  We are also excited to pit the Bullwhip against NTPA’s best and brightest super modified tractors.  Come on out and join the fun!  It is going to be a raging good time.

Hamburg was a great time for all who went.  The Lil’ Whip went the distance Friday night and brought home the Texas Bullwhip Pulling Team’s first PPL win!  On Saturday, after replacing a blower on the Bullwhip, we pulled at 3 P.M.  The Lil’ Whip went first and earned us a spot in the pulloff against Midnight Gambler.  Between hooks, Donald drove the Bullwhip and the guys ran back to weld a header onto the Lil’ Whip in time for it’s second hook.  Final result:  2nd Place for the night!  After Hamburg, the Lil’ Whip is in 5th place for points and is 9 points out of fourth and 11 points out of 3rd with 2 hooks left in Wheatland and Waynesburg.  The Bullwhip is 8th in points with 1 hook left in Wheatland.

Our four day sweep through Illinois and Indiana was a success! The first night was a rough start because one of the wires came unplugged on a Hemi and stopped Donald in his tracks. That was repaired and the second night in Evansville took us down the track and earned our driver a much needed shave! He will be more cautious next time he makes bets with the Joker Pulling Team! Fairfield was another successful run and we topped off the weekend in Waterloo with 319 feet!

Now, it is on to Kansas and Oklahoma for three days of Outlaw Truck and Tractor Association Pulling. We will be in McLouth, KS on August 1st, Enid, OK on August 3rd, and Chikasha, OK on August 4th. We cannot wait to see everyone there! Let’s Pull!

It was frosty in Freeport! With the cold temperatures, we felt like it was fall. I know everyone said axels don’t break, but guess what? We broke another one after 208 BEAUTIFUL feet. This time it was the other side. The repairs were done overnight and we were ready to pull on Saturday! Unfortunately, the Freeport Saturday night pull was cancelled a couple of hours after it started because of a broken sled.

Today, the Texas Bullwhip is on its way to Goshen, IN for the Summer Heat pull at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds on July 23rd and then on to finish a 4 day sweep. Following Goshen, we will be at the General Tire Vanderburgh County Fair Truck & Tractor Pull in Evansville, IN on July 24th, the Southeast Illinois Summer Heat Presented By E3 Sparkplugs at the New Wayne County Fairgrounds in Fairfield, IL, and then possibly a surprise stop by the Bullwhip…. The Bullwhip had quite a run in Henry, IL. We started out of the hole great. After jumping up really high in the air and leveling out perfectly, the axel shaft broke and the front end of the tractor hit the ground and damaged the weight box and a front wheel. As far as the motors go, they are running GREAT and there is no damage. Parts are on the way and we will see everyone next weekend! This was a televised pull

The Bullwhip is coming to the Midwest Summer Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull at the Stephenson County Fairgrounds in Freeport, IL on July 17- 18, 2009!  Join us there!

The Texas Bullwhip is celebrating a first place finish in the Outlaw Pull in Taylor, Texas on June 26th! We rounded out the weekend with a third place finish on June 27th in Taylor. It was a great weekend for us. Congratulations also go to Cole Zajicek for his awesome performance and on winning his first Outlaw Pull in the two wheel drive category. Great job, Cole!!

The Texas Bullwhip is coming to the America’s Pull at the 88th Annual Marshall Putnam Fair in Henry, IL July 10- 11, 2009!  The Marshall-Putnam County Fairgrounds is located at 915 University Avenue (IL Rt. 29), Henry, IL. Henry is at the intersection of IL Rt. 29 (University Avenue) and IL Rt. 18. Henry is approximately 25 miles south of Interstate 80; 30 miles north of Peoria, IL and 20 miles west of Interstate 39.
